Business Incubators in the DC Metro Area
A business incubator (as defined by Wikipedia) is a program designed to accelerate the successful development of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services, developed and orchestrated by incubator management and offered both in the incubator and through its network of contacts.
To put all that in one sentence – An incubator puts you in smack in the center of tons of resources to help grow your business. Resources can include:
· Help with business plan writing.
· Network with like minded entrepreneurs and small business owners.
· Priority access to investors, venture capitalists and bankers.
· Comprehensive business training.
· Networking events.
· Technology training and support.

Your list of VA incuabtors left our ECDC Enterprise Development Group (EDG) Business Incubator at 901 S. Highland Street, Arlington VA 22204.
You left out the DC Business Incubator, you can find them at dcbusinessincubator.org
The list doesn’t include the Dupont Circle Business Incubator, which provides space, services, programming and networking for entrepreneurs who seek to start, accelerate, re-invent or aquire a business. The DCBI is unique in that it actively seeks diversity in the concepts which participate, and admission is competitive.
